A 2002 dark green Ford Ranger pickup truck seriously injured a pedestrian and the driver when it crashed into a telephone pole on Route 6 in Fairhaven near the intersection of Adams Street on a rainy Monday, 10/4/21, at 9:45 a.m.
It appears the woman was waiting at the bus stop when she was struck, but that has not been confirmed, said Fairhaven Police spokesperson, Lt. Kevin Kobza.
The male driver and the woman were transported to local hospitals.
Lt. Kobza said the matter is still under investigation.
