Culture*Park presents the 17th annual Short Plays Marathon on Sat., 11/23, in the Whaling Museum Theatre, in Downtown New Bedford. 25 original short plays by local, regional and playwrights from around the Globe, will be presented as staged readings by an ensemble of over 80 actors and directors. In collaboration with Climate Change Theatre Action’s Light the Way, an international initiative, Culture*Park will present plays with themes focused on Climate Change, peppered throughout the Marathon. Marathon Co-Directors are Rebecca Shade and Patricia Thomas.
Admission is $20 For a FULL DAY/EVENING TICKET, and $15 HALF-DAY. Senior/Student pricing is $18 for a Full Day/Evening Ticket, and $12 for half day. Tickets may be purchased at the door on the day of the event. Tickets may be reserved in advance by calling 774-202-0588, or through Event Brite.
