New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center’s gallery is about to be invaded by Sea Monsters Real and Imagined, a new exhibit which opens on July 13 (AHA! Night). The exhibit will remain on view from July 13-December 31, 2023.
Sea Monsters Real and Imagined showcases real-life deep sea creatures as well as those from myths and legends around the world.
The exhibit will open during AHA! Night, Thursday July 13 from 5-8 PM. That night, the community is invited to assist artists Nina Mach and Wendy Pires in creating a 32-foot sea serpent that will be displayed as part of the exhibit. The Center, 38 Bethel St., New Bedford, is free of charge on AHA night!
