For all Boys and Girls Ages 5-20
One of the New Bedford Area’s oldest scouting organizations will be hosting an open house recruitment event on Sat., 9/26, from 10:00AM-2:00PM outside the St. Joseph/St. Teresa’s Parish on 51 Duncan Street in New Bedford. Our sponsored organization represents four scouting units that span all genders and ages from five years old to 20 years old.
• Pack 24 (Boys and Girls 5-10yrs) Meets Thursday nights (64 years running)
• Scouting, BSA Troop 24B (Boys 11–17) Meets Wednesday nights (80 years running)
• Scouting, BSA Troop 24G (Girls 11-17) Meets Tuesday nights (1 year running)
• Venture Crew 24 (Boys and Girls 14-20) Meets Thursday nights (23 years running)
We will have some games and activities. Masks and social distancing will be required for all participants and our scouts and leaders will host this event outdoors and complying with all COVID-19 precautions.
The Boy Scouts of America uses uniquely hands-on learning experience and opportunities toward advancement while promoting budding interests. Youth will unlock the world of discovery around them and forge a path for the future.
