To end vacation week, the New Bedford Whaling Museum, 18 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford, is hosting the New Bedford Science Café Kids on Fri., 2/22. This event is free and open to the public and runs from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Discover how dolphins and fish communicate. Learn how sound travels in the ocean. See the creative ways scientists cut down on noise pollution. Visit Meet-a-Scientist stations to ask questions and try hands-on activities. Enjoy free cookies!
Science Café Kids is presented by Buzzards Bay Coalition, City of New Bedford Department of Parks and Recreation, New Bedford Science Café, New Bedford Whaling Museum, and University of Mass. Dartmouth and UMD School for Marine Science and Technology.
