Goytizolo Scholarship
One time $1,000 scholarship. The Enrique Goytizolo Scholarship, awarded by the Fairhaven Historical Societ for graduating seniors attending college in the fall. Must be Fairhaven resident. Email: historicalsocietyfairhaven@gmail.com
Colonial Club
One $1,000 scholarship for graduate attending a two or four-year college in the fall. For Fairhaven residents only. Applications available at guidance offices.
Mattapoisett Woman’s Club
For Mattapoisett residents. Two awards of $2,500 for graduating seniors; one $1,500 scholarship for a returning student. Applications available at area high schools.
Mattapoisett Cong Church
For students in Mattapoisett, Marion or Rochester. Two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement, community service and financial need. Applications and information are now available at the local public and private schools. Deadline is Friday, March 31, 2023. Email mattcongchurch@gmail.com
Azorean Maritime Heritage Society
Five scholarships for graduating seniors attending college in the fall. Application available at our website: www.azoreanmaritime.org
GNB Garden Club
The Greater New Bedford Garden Club is offering two $1,500 scholarships to residents of the Greater New Bedford area who are high school seniors graduating in June and who are planning to attend a four year college and who are planning to pursue a degree in horticulture, landscape design, agriculture, forestry, conservation or environmental science.
Applications are available at high school guidance offices and must be postmarked by April 1,2023.
