A pickup truck lands on its side after rolling over from a two-vehicle accident on Route 240 at the intersection of Bridge Street in Fairhaven on Thursday, 6/6/19. According to Fairhaven police spokesperson Lt. Kevin Kobza, the 2001 black Toyota Tacoma (pictured) was operated by John Long, 37, of E. Falmouth, who admitted that he went through the red light as he was traveling north on Route 240 at the intersection of Bridge Street. A 2012 Ford F250 driven by David Barboza, 66, of Fairhaven, and traveling west on Bridge Street, hit the passenger side of the Tacoma as it went through the red light. Mr. Long was cited with a red light violation. Both drivers were transported to St. Luke’s Hospital, and both were wearing seatbelts, according to Lt. Kobza. No information was available on injuries or the conditions of the drivers.
