Blustery was the word of the day on Sunday, as 109 runners and eight walkers took to the streets for the 16th annual Fort Phoenix 5K Road Race.
Most runners, though, said they liked the breeze and cooler weather as they ran.
First over the finish line was Jason Eddy, 36, of East Bridgewater in a super fast 16:31. Brian Grant, 45, of Fall River crossed next in 19:17, followed by Meg Hughes, 14, of Rochester, in 19:30.

The oldest runners were Brian Grant, Sr., 74 of Fall River, who finished in 47:12; and Dorothy Arnold, 75, of Fairhaven for the women, who crossed the line in 47:10.
The youngest were three 10-year-olds: Calder Eaton representing the men, and Hannah Eaton (presumably his twin) and Ava Texeira for the women.
