The Rotch-Jones-Duff House & Garden Museum (RJD), 396 County St., NB, will offer a half-hour guided tour of the festively decorated whaling mansion on Sat., 12/7, at 11 a.m. Special attention will be paid to the holiday customs of the original residents of the historic house. Visitors will also have an opportunity to purchase wreaths, greens and seasonal decorations at the Garden Club of Buzzards Bay Holiday Greens Market, which will be held in the Museum’s Coach House from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Christmas on County
The RJD will present Christmas on County on Thurs., 12/12, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors to the historic whaling mansion will enjoy the festively decked halls and hear docents describe some of the holiday customs of the original residents. In addition, participants are invited to taste-test home-baked holiday cookies and vote for their favorite in the Fifth Annual Cookie Challenge which features seasonal sweets from bakers in the area.
