The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Greater New Bedford invites participants, survivors, and team captains to the monthly team meetings on Feb. 13, Mar. 13, Apr. 17, May 15, and Jun. 12. All meetings will be held at the Whaler Inn and Suites at 500 Hathaway Road, New Bedford at 6:30PM.
The monthly meeting provides event updates and allows teams and participants to interact with the event leadership team, share their fundraising progress and successes, ask questions, learn how the community benefits from funds raised, and learn how cancer survivors and caregivers will be honored.
The Relay For Life movement unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action for lifesaving change. Teams participant in fundraising in the months leading up to the event.
The Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event to fight every cancer in every community. The Relay For Life of Greater New Bedford is celebrating 25 years on June 21, 2019. Join us today in leading the fight for a world without cancer.
