My son-in-law, Travis had open heart surgery on April 28. After the surgery, he had a couple of setbacks. The young family has three children and they are facing a longer recovery than expected.
I’m not very good at writing letters so I encourage your readers to please visit their GoFundMe page (https://www.gofundme.com/travis-burtons-open-heart-surgery) for information and updates on his condition.
Here is an excerpt from the GoFundMe page:
“His open heart went okay the heart looks better [than] before but we have had some down falls since travis did go into v tech 4 times last Friday. Which means his heart stopped and they had to start it back up 4 times.
“Travis is still in the hospital …this is day 17…it’s getting very hard with funds for gas for me to get there or even to get our children to school. Also our bills for June are starting to come. Travis will be getting a pace maker and defibrillator this week due to this we don’t know if he will be able to work till after it’s done just to see if everything goes okay.
“Please share as we wait for the next surgery for pace maker and defibrillator. Our funds are getting very low due to having to drive back and forth and buying the things that we need. Thank you everyone please keep the prayers coming.”
