The Mattapoisett Republican Town Committee will host an open community discussion on Thurs., 9/17, featuring Tim Dunn, Lead Political Reporter for the Boston Herald, 6:00–8:00 p.m., Niemad Building, 57 Fairhaven Road, Mattapoisett, MA
Light snacks will be provided, and a cash bar will be available.
The event will provide residents with an opportunity to learn more about current political events and issues affecting Mattapoisett and Massachusetts state government, as well as issues that may be important to voters as the November election approaches.
Dunn brings more than a decade of journalism experience covering local, regional, and state news. He has worked with Massachusetts news organizations including WBSM, Fun 107, WBZ Newsradio, and WXTK, and previously worked as a writer for Fox News in New York City. He currently serves as Lead Political Reporter for the Boston Herald.
Dunn is also a Mattapoisett native who grew up in the Point Connett neighborhood and attended local schools. After graduating from Bridgewater State University in 2015, he began his reporting career at WBSM and Fun 107 in Fairhaven. He returned to Mattapoisett in 2025 when he took on his current position with the Boston Herald.
The evening will include an opportunity for residents to ask questions and participate in an open discussion about current political developments at the local and state levels.
The event is open to all members of the community.
