On Tuesday, July 23rd, the P.J. Keating Acushnet location hosted 53 senior citizens from the Acushnet Council on Aging and Senior Community Center.
To commemorate Senior Day, members toured the Acushnet quarry and enjoyed Del’s Frozen Lemonade and a cookout provided by P.J. Keating employees.
The cookout turned into a reunion for members and sisters Yevette Costa and Germaine Stephens. Their cousin, Annette Audet, who they have not seen for close to 50 years was also in attendance!
The event, and family reunion, was made possible by the P.J. Keating team as well as the members of the Acushnet Council of Aging, especially Director Lauren Golda and Receptionist Janice Fortin.

Members of the Acushnet Council on Aging stop for a photo in front of the quarry at the cookout hosted by PJ Keating for Acushnet Senior Center patrons on Tuesday, 7/23/24. Submitted photo.
