The Paskamansett Bird Club’s final meeting for 2018 will be at 7:30 PM on Wed., 11/14, at the Community Hall of Friends Meeting, 739 Horseneck Rd., So. Dartmouth. Peter Trull will speak about the life of terns, revealing the intimate details of these graceful and beautiful birds.
This photographic journey will focus on day-to-day tern colony life, using data from over ten years of watching, recording and photographing the birds. Many of these pictures provide observations into the fragile yet frantic family lives of terns as seen from inside the nesting colony. Some of the behaviors and scenes depicted have never before been observed, and will be unfamiliar to the casual birder Free, accessible.
