New Bedford Credit Union is sponsoring the fall Paper Shredding Day. The event will take place on Sat., 9/29, from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the parking lot across from New Bedford City Hall, corner of William and North 6th Streets.
Participants are welcome to watch the destruction of their paper. Certificates of destruction are available, if needed. Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed, but please remove paper from folders and binders. Shredded paper will be recycled into new products such as paper towels.
Event is held in partnership with NB’s Department of Community Services and the Greater New Bedford Regional Refuse Management District.
