I am writing to enthusiastically endorse Pam Kuechler for Fairhaven Select Board. She has demonstrated leadership, integrity, and practical problem-solving that addresses our town’s needs. She listens respectfully to all viewpoints, works collaboratively to find common-sense solutions, and follows through to get things done.
Pam began her civic journey on the PTO of Roger’s School before running for school committee in 2008, where she remained for 15 years until her retirement in 2023. Her extensive experience overseeing major projects, including the rebuild of Leroy L. Wood School and the Fairhaven High School Alumni Stadium, demonstrates her capabilities. She also guided our district through an unprecedented pandemic and helped establish the Unified Sports Program in Fairhaven.
Pam has helped improve the lives of many Fairhaven families through her support in creating the Family Engagement Center. Located inside Elizabeth Hastings Middle School, it provides vital resources to any Fairhaven family in need, including access to after-school programs, counseling, mental health services, food pantries, and housing assistance. Her leadership in establishing this center directly supports the well-being of our families and strengthens our community. She has also served as the executive director of People Acting in Community Endeavors (PACE) since 2018, further demonstrating her dedication to community support.
She balances a long-term vision for our town with attention to day-to-day concerns by prioritizing responsible budgets, effective public services, and transparent decision-making. This balanced approach reassures residents that she considers both immediate needs and future growth.
I am confident Pam will continue to represent our community with fairness, competence, and a deep commitment to the public good. I urge my fellow residents to support Pam for Fairhaven Select Board.
