On most Saturdays, the North Fairhaven Open Air Market will feature a group of local, New Bedford, food vendors set up as a Puerto Rican Food Court. You will be able to enjoy a variety of specialty foods, as well as burgers and fries, and refreshing teas from 10:00 to 3:00 p.m. And for the kids, you’ll find bagged popcorn, cotton candy, candies and balloons.
Here is the list of vendors who will be here: The Taste of Joa’s Kitchen, hamburgers, sandwiches fries, etc.; Pinchorican, Latin style chicken and pork skewers (kabobs), soda, water; Pastelillos La Suegra, fried pastelillos made with meat, pizza, and other flavors, other fried foods; Gustitos Saludables and Dulces Creaciones By Marge, Puerto Rican style cakes and refreshing tea; A&F Party Rentals, popcorn, cotton candy, chocolates, candies, balloons.
There will also be other food vendors, including hot food and baked goods.
The North Fairhaven Open Air Market, Sponsored by the North Fairhaven Improvement Association, is held every Saturday in the shady corner of Livesey Park, at Glenhaven Avenue and Parker Street. The hours are 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
