Feast of Our Lady of Angels, September 3, 4, 5, Our Lady of Angels Feast Grounds, 7 Jesse St., Fairhaven. Sat. 5 p.m.-Midnight, Sun. Noon – Mid., Mon. Noon – 10 p.m. Procession on Main St. Monday at 1 p.m.
A traditional Portuguese “festa” with live music, game booths, Portuguese & American foods, auctions, kids’ activities. This annual event has been held since 1930. Grounds open at 5 p.m. Opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. followed by concert by Our Lady of Light Band of Fall River.
8 p.m.–midnight, music by 7-day Weekend
Sunday, 9/4
Grounds open from noon to midnight
3–7 p.m., Richard Canastra & Paul Savoie Show
8–midnight, Hardwire
Monday, 9/5
Grounds open until 10 p.m.
Feast mass at 10 a.m., St. Mary’s Church, Main Street (across from feast grounds). Mass celebrant Fr. Arruda of the Fall River Diocese.
1 p.m.: Procession down Main Street from St. Mary’s to Benoit Square and back.
Auction after procession.
6–10 p.m. Red Handed
