Kathleen (Gibson) Audette
Kathleen S. (Gibson) Audette, 74, of Fairhaven passed away peacefully Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston after a long courageous battle with Cancer. She was the loving wife of Alfred N. Audette.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Alexander and Ella (Quintin) Gibson, she lived in the city until age 16 when she moved to Fairhaven where she graduated from Fairhaven High School. She received her BA in Social Science from SMU and worked as a Social Worker.
She is survived by her loving husband Alfred of Fairhaven; two sons, Gregory Audette of CA and James Audette and his wife Thary of Fairhaven; two grandchildren, Thailer and Ella May; a sister, Barbara Mendell and her husband Thomas of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Audette was the mother of the late Nicole Jane Audette.
In accordance with her wishes she was cremated and private arrangements and interment in Riverside Cemetery, are by the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven.
