Nomination papers for elected positions in the town of Acushnet are now available. The last day to take out nomination papers is Wed., 3/27 at 5 p.m.
Candidates need at least 42 certified signatures of registered voters to get on the ballot.
The last day to register to vote is Mon., 4/17, at 5 p.m.
The last day to register as a voter in Wed., 5/8, at 5 p.m.
The Acushnet election is Sat., 5/18. Polls are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. All precincts vote at the Acushnet Elementary School, 800 Middle Road.
Deadline for Vote by Mail Applications is Mon., 5/13.
