The North Fairhaven Improvement Association held its annual egg hunt at Livesey Park on Saturday, 3/30, with hundreds of young’uns and their adults participating.
The 38 degree temperature with biting winds did not stop the fun. The Easter Bunny was available for hugs, and free hot chocolate took a little bit of the bite out of the cold.
Children had designated areas by age to collect plastic eggs with candy inside. Special wooden eggs got the winner a special prize, with a variety of toys and games to choose from. Everyone got a ticket for a raffle to win Easter baskets.
