New Fairhaven resident’s stay is shrinking…literally

February 28, 2019 by Staff Writer

Last week’s snow may have seemed like a tidbit, but Joshua Bellevance took full advantage of it by making this huge snow sculpture on William Street in Fairhaven, at the intersection of Center Street, near the library and Town Hall. After a few days, though, it lost its head and got very, very short, according to one neighbor. We have very cold temps forecast for the next few days and some fluffy snow, about 3–5 inches, for Wednesday night into Thursday, so not much hope to reconstitute this guy anytime soon. With Dayliight Savings Time just 10 days away, the number of days for making snow sculptures is, most likey, pretty low.
