May our surrounding communities be reminded that Thursday, May 3, 2018 has been sanctioned by the United States Government as “National Day of Prayer.”
Celebrating its 67th year, this year’s theme for 2018 is Pray for America…Unity, calling on people, corporately and individually, to return to the God of Fathers in reverence for His Holy Name. To further highlight our theme, Ephesians 4:3 has been chosen as our Scripture for this year: “Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
Please note also that the United States is the only country in the world with a government-sanctioned “National Day of Prayer.” The Judeo-Christian based task force is calling for people to gather for personal and national repentance and heart-felt prayer targeting seven critical areas: our government, military, media, education, church, business, and family.

If for some reason you can not attend one of these National Day of Prayer gatherings, we encourage you to take time to pray alone or with family members at home, or with other like minded people during breaks at your work place. At such a time as this, and as believers, let’s join together this May 3, 2018 to pray for our Nation.
