Fairhaven Police Department is very excited to work with Maranatha Farm Kennels. Since 1998 they have proudly provided municipal, state, and federal agencies with working dogs. One of those agencies, being Massachusetts Task Force 1. MA-TF1 is most notably known for their deployment to Ground Zero of the World Trade Center after the 9/11 attacks.
Next Thursday Officers from FPD and Bristol County Sheriff’s Office will travel to Maranatha Farm Kennels in Maine to select our K9. In the mean time we would like your help. If you have a suggestion for our K9’s name, we want to hear it! Keep in mind we will not know the gender of the dog until next Thursday. So put some of your best names forward! (Two names per person)
