Winter has arrived in earnest in these parts. After a whopper of a storm a couple of weeks ago, the region saw a couple more spits and starts.
We got hit with another 6-8 inches Saturday, 2/7/26. The light, fluffy stuff got tossed around by high winds out of the north creating blizzard conditions on stretches of road and creating hazardous driving conditions. The temperatures have stayed way below freezing, with wind chills below zero, creating a frozen marsh and seashore all along the coast.
