United Way of Greater New Bedford will provide free produce, soup, and non-perishable food to people in need at Winter Mobile Markets in February.
Markets will take place on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. alternating between New Bedford and Wareham locations. No registration, ID, or proof of residence is needed to receive food. Face masks are required for anyone who attends.
New Bedford Mobile Markets will be held at BankFive located at 1724 Acushnet Ave. in New Bedford on Feb. 15. Wareham Mobile Markets will be held at Wareham Middle School, located at 4 Viking Drive on 2/8 and 22. Markets are held when weather permits, and people can check at unitedwayofgnb.org or United Way of Greater New Bedford’s Facebook page. Visit unitedwayofgnb.org.
