Monday, 5/30, Main Street, from Center Street north to Riverside Cemetery. To march, meet by 9:30 a.m. Steps off at 10 a.m.
The annual Memorial Day Parade steps off from the intersection of Main and Union streets and proceeds north on Main Street to Riverside Cemetery, with a stop at Fairhaven High School to raise the big flag.
At the cemetery there is a ceremony at the Civil War monument with participation from military and veterans groups and others. The event is coordinated by the Fairhaven Veterans Services office, and proudly supported by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2892, Fairhaven Lions Club.
