The Fall River/New Bedford Line experiencd delays last weekend, with the MBTA replacing some train trips with buses. Service was restored during the week. The MBTA cited staffing shortages for the disruptions. Check mbta.com for changes/delays if you are taking the train to Boston.
FREE FARES EXTENDED
On a better note, the MBTA will be extending fare-free weekend service on the Fall River/New Bedford Line through the end of May as a show of gratitude to riders who have been utilizing this new service.
