Mayhem and Madness in Fairhaven 

This is all terrible, confusing and not at all pleasant to read. Fairhaven has some 15,000+ people. One wonders how much influence the previous Senator still has in town.

For the past 17 years, it seems as though we have been making an attempt to get away from the ‘ol boy network’ and not be controlled by strings being pulled from afar. Yet, the same ol’ same ol’ keep showing up going from one committee to another.

The Selectboard needs to be five people, not three, have more repre­sentation from its very talented population, and a town administrator who can at least demand civility amongst its elected officials.

Might there be a mission statement published somewhere which explains the Board of Health and what they do to command their salary?
