Locals got a nice surprise this week when the Mayflower II stopped by for a visit. The replica of the famous ship that brought European settlers to the new land docked at State Pier in New Bedford harbor to ride out tropical storm Isaias on Tuesday, 8/4/20. A few people got up close and were able to board it and take a few pics.
The ship is home ported in Plymouth, Mass.
