Mario Carreiro, 64, of Fairhaven was killed in a car crash in Westport on 7/27/26. A GoFundMe has been set up to help his family with expenses.
“As the primary breadwinner, Mario was the foundation of his family, always working hard to provide for his beloved wife Anne, his three children, and his two beautiful grandchildren. His loss has created not only an emotional void, but also an overwhelming financial burden for those he leaves behind,” reads the GoFundMe. “The Carreiro family is now facing the difficult task of arranging funeral services and managing daily living expenses, all while trying to process their grief and support one another through this unimaginable time.”
As of press time, $25,872 of the $28K goal had been collected.
