This summer the Whitfield/Manjiro Friendship Society is offering two 4-day courses to educators and adult community members. The cost is $425 for each including PDP’s (with LMU credit available for an additional fee).
“Whaling, Japanese Culture, and the Whitfield/Manjiro Story, Part 1 and 2” will take place in Capt. Whitfield’s historic home at 11 Cherry St. Fairhaven. Course details and registration are available on our website: Whitfield-manjiro.org under “Events.” Lunch and literature books are included each day as well as field trips, language lessons, crafts, history, science, and more! Space is limited.
