Ladle Full of Love
It has been a wild fantastic ride — I’m talking about life here. With all of the joy and love and hope and excitement, there is also pain and grief and sorrow and disappointment.
But for me, I continue to come through the tunnel full of joy and with my glass always half full. For that, I am eternally grateful to the One and only — God.
My book, Born Again, Again and so much more, was birthed out of my own weakness, out of my grief and tragedy. What came through to the other side was hope, joy, love, peace and freedom. I am told the genre of this book fits in the category of “Memoirs — Personal Faith.” That is not bad for starters, but I need to tell you that it is…so much more.
Sit back, relax, take a gander with an open heart and an open mind — and enjoy the ride:

“As I turned back to the messenger, I opened my eyes and I was awake in my bed. I thought to myself, I’m alive. He didn’t take me. Well that was foolish to think I needed to bring something with me when I’m going to die; you don’t need anything in heaven. That’s when it all became clear. I wanted to bring a serving utensil — a LADLE. And the dream came together; God didn’t come to take me from this earth. He came to tell me it’s time: It’s time for me to work for Him, to share His word, His law, His life, His story, His love, His purpose.
As I pour my Word into you, you will pour it in to others.

Ms. Wood will be reading from her book at the book fair on Saturday, 12/8, at the Millicent Library, 45 Center St., Fairhaven. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. with coffee. Readings start at 11:45.
