The Fishing Heritage Center, 38 Bethel St., New Bedford, is pleased to announce the return of Lobster Days during the February school vacation week. This family-friendly event is designed to educate the public and local youth about Massachusetts’ commercial lobster industry.
Stop by the Center to meet local commercial lobstermen, make lobster hand puppets, explore model lobster boats, get your face painted, and participate in a lobster-themed story time. This year’s two day event will take place on Thurs., 2/19, and Fri., 2/20, from 11:00am until 3:00pm. Admission to the Center will be free during the event.
