New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center (FHC) is pleased to announce the return of Lobster Days during February school vacation week. This family-friendly event is designed to educate the public and local youth about Massachusetts’ commercial lobster industry. Associated activities include demonstrations and talks by working lobstermen, story time, lobster-themed crafts, and more. Lobster Days 2025 will take place on
Thurs. 2/20, and Fri., 2/21, from 11 a.m.–3 p.m.. Admission to the Center is free on both days of the event.
Local lobstermen Dave Casoni and Steve Holler of the Massachusetts Lobstermen’s Association will be on hand to answer questions about commercial lobstering and lead lobster biology demonstrations, including activities for children.
