The Mass. Energy Facilities Siting Board is holding a public meeting on the proposed expansion of the Liquefied Natural Gas facility in Acushnet on Thurs. 5/12, at 7 p.m. at Ford Middle School, 708 Middle Road, Acushnet. The project is currently being review by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
The Siting Board also seeks written comments concerning the project. Send comments by email to BOTH robert.j.shea@state.ma.us and dpu.efiling@state.ma.us or by U.S. mail to Energy Facilities Siting Board, One South Station, Boston, MA 02110, Attn: Robert Shea, Presiding Officer. Deadline for comments is May 20. The Siting Board will use the comments it receives, whether oral or written, in drafting a comment letter on the project ot FERC. Contact Robert Shea with questions.
