It is with great pleasure the Livesey Club of Fairhaven announces their Scholarship awardees for 2019.
Despite the trying year the club has gone through after the devastating fire, we held true to our mission. four $500.00 scholarships this year. All of the young people demonstrated that they were excellent students involved in many extracurricular activities and the community.
The awardees are:
• Rylee Sylvia Fairhaven High School
• Breanna Demanche Fairhaven High School
• Bethany Tetreault Fairhaven High School
• Josie Pimental Fairhaven High School
Each student, upon completion of their first semester satisfactorily, will be awarded their $500.00 scholarship.
We wish them the very best.
We would also wish the same to all of the other applicants. This year we had 25 applicants for scholarships, the highest number in our club’s history. We will work even harder to see if we will be able to do more in the coming years.
We also want to thank all of the people that have supported us over the years. The club is planning to have a public open house this summer to personally say thank you to the community. We will let the Fairhaven Neighborhood News know when that date is finalized.
