Troop 11 Boy Scouts of Acushnet received a donation from the Lions Club of Acushnet for $1,200 for a shed that will be located at the golf course for the pollinator garden that will house the tools that will be used to maintain the garden.
This garden is a community garden created by Troop 11. A presentation was made to the Lions’ club from Noah Dionne, Scout Leader Joe Cote, and Den Mother Heather Dionne. Douglas Thomas of the Acushnet Lions worked with Heather putting this garden shed together for many months to be able to make this possible. The shed will be in place soon and the scouts encourage everyone to visit the garden.
