After getting approval from the Fairhaven Selectboard (see 6/27/19 issue), Kyle Bueno wasted no time getting the gay pride rainbow flag hanging in the archway at town hall before the end of June, which is Gay Pride month. On Friday, 6/28/19, more than 40 people showed up for a short program to show support for the LGBTQ community. The Selectboard allowed the flag to fly for two hours, comparable to the time the National Day of Prayer group uses the same space once a year.
