The New Bedford LGBTQ Winter Film Series returns in 2021 in a new virtual format. The event is made possible by funding and support from Mass Humanities.
This year, fans are asked to watch the films prior to joining a Zoom conversation moderated by members of the Film Series. The movies are available either through online streaming platforms or on DVDs available at the New Bedford Free Public Library with a SAILS library card (call in advance to reserve).
• Sun., 3/14 at 3 p.m. Tucked (2018) is a raw, heartfelt drama about Jackie, an aging 80-year-old drag queen, and her unlikely friendship with a younger queen Faith. They both struggle with gender and, along the way, they realize how to truly be themselves.
