Democrats envision socialism
I don’t believe any reasonable person would disagree that elections have consequences. The 2016 presidential election is a great example. Under president Trump’s leadership this country has seen a dramatic turn-around.
However the issue that is of the utmost importance is what direction we want this country to take.
First consider the Republican agenda. First and foremost they recognize that we are a Christian nation founded primarily by Christians. It’s in our Constitution all men are endowed by their creator with unalienable rights, life liberty and pursuit of happiness. This became the framework of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
The amendments of the Bill of Rights to the Constitution protect our freedom of speech, freedom of religion, to keep and bear arms, unreasonable search, due process of the law .
These rights have been fought and won by the servicemen and women who fought and died to protect them.
Our economy and society has flourished under this form of government.
I will contrast this to what is envisioned by the secular progressive Democratic Party who envisions a socialist form of government where the government can provide you with what you need or desire, free unlimited health care, free education, employment, in other words, the government is the answer to all our social problems.
This is the deception put forth by all forms of socialist governments. My question is show me where it works.
Consider Communism sounds good in theory but it soon deteriorates into a brutal state of control where there is no freedom.
Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination for Supreme Court is I believe a good case to make my point. From the outset Brett was an outstanding candidate with an extensive history of serving on the D.C. court. He received top grades in his college years, he received the highest grade from the American Bar Association.
The Democrats were determined to use any and all means possible to block him, legal or otherwise. When these means failed they used a phony trumped up charge that he sexually molested a young girl 35 years ago. This was I believe a last ditch effort by the Democrats that was well planned in advance. They had this information six weeks earlier. They sat on it for the right opportunity to use it.
It didn’t manner whether he was guilty or not. The Democrats couldn’t care less. Some said he was guilty, he had to prove he was innocent, which leads me to the point I am making. The Democrats of today have no resemblance to the party of years ago who fought for the rights of the working man. They are secular progressives who care little about our historic heritage, Christian or otherwise, the Constitution or rule of law. They want power and control.
The sad fact is that many of our universities have been taken over by these progressives. They succeeded in brain washing their students. I don’t really blame these students, many never really worked of served in the military, in other words, they have it too good.
To sum it up like this I am a thankful American. I’m thankful for servicemen and women who fought and died for our country, the policemen and women who protect us.
When you vote this November you have two choices, the Democrats who want power and control, big government, higher taxes and take away freedoms guaranteed by our Bill of Rights. Or the Republicans who want limited government, who will support our Constitution and Bill of Rights who for the most part believe in the free enterprise system with some controls where you either succeed or fail depending upon your skills and work ethic. I have worked this way for 50+ years. I’m thankful I lived in a country where I had this opportunity.
