Why Vote for Hodgson?
I have known [Bristol County Sheriff Thomas] Hodgson for a good number of years dating back to when he first became sheriff, both personally on a limited basis, and more importantly for his record and the way he has managed this very important office of Sheriff of Bristol County.
His guiding principle has been and I believe still is the safety and security of the residents of Bristol County. His detractors all say the same thing, he spends too much money, he should spend more to rehabilitate the inmates. I say he does. My stepson was incarcerated in the Bristol House of Correction run by Hodgson. He was on a work release program. Upon his release he went on to become a self-employed mason and worked as a fisherman.
What’s my point? It’s this: there is ample opportunity for these inmates to turn their lives around if they earnestly want to. Many have no desire to. They are hardened career criminals who are committed to a life of crime whose only thought is to prey on society.
These bleeding heart detractors are for the most part phony hypocrites whose motto is do as I say not as I do. For the most part they have no interaction with them either to counsel or help them.
In most of our major cities where these Socialist Marxists have taken control under their disguise of being Democrats, crime is running rampant. Violent criminals are being released under their no-cash bail laws. Assaults, murders, robberies, car jackings are at an all time high.
I guarantee you if Democrats win this November we will see the same thing happen here.
