Sylvia Remarkably Responsive
Two years ago, I wrote to support Mark Sylvia’s campaign for State Representative. Today, having seen him serve our community in the State House, my endorsement of his re-election is stronger than ever.
When Mark ran, he promised to be an accessible, community-minded leader, and he has delivered on that promise every day. Whenever I have reached out with concerns, Mark has been remarkably responsive, attentive, and focused on solutions. He brought the same diplomacy, grace, and professionalism he demonstrated as our town moderator straight to Beacon Hill, representing all residents of the 10th Bristol District regardless of political affiliation.
As a longtime school librarian and advocate for intellectual freedom, I am especially grateful for his co-sponsorship of Massachusetts’ anti-book banning legislation, which became law this summer. At a time when divisive politics threaten access to information, Representative Sylvia stood up to defend our fundamental freedoms, protect our libraries, and safeguard the educational resources our community relies on.
Mark Sylvia has proven that he has vision, integrity, and effectiveness. I urge my neighbors across the 10th Bristol District to cast their vote to keep Mark Sylvia working for us on election day.
