Letter_Stop vandalizing signs

July 27, 2022 by Staff Writer

The sign for Rick Trapilo has been damaged twice on Sconticut Neck Road in Fairhaven. Submitted photo.

Stop Vandalizing Political Signs

As a candidate running against a 30-year incumbent, Bill Straus, I knew I would be the underdog. But, personally, I always fight for the underdog!!

I am most disappointed some individual has vandalized my sign two times at Friendly Farms on the Neck. To whoever it is, please STOP, you have a right not to vote for me, call me to discuss issues etc. But please STOP this vandalism.

I have notified the Fairhaven Police Department. Any information on who is doing this much appreciated.

We are a democracy that votes to make change. We do not make positive change by trying to intimidate candidates . My third sign is already up!

Rick Trapilo, Fairhaven, Democratic Candidate 10th Bristol
