Schmid Has Served Us Ably
Our local elections are Tuesday, Nov. 8th, just a few short weeks away.
Paul Schmid is running for reelection as State Rep for the 8th Bristol District. He has served us ably in this position for 12 years. His accomplishments are many, with the new High Schools in Westport and Fall River, cleanup of South Watuppa Pond, upgrading Westport’s town dock, repaving of Rte. 6, being but a few.
Paul embodies public service by listening to the concerns of all of his constituents and working constantly to address those concerns. He is especially attentive to the needs of sometimes underserved groups including the elderly, veterans, working farmers and fishermen and school-aged children. As a farmer, Marine, parent and small business operator he is uniquely aware of many of these needs.
Paul promotes good government by prioritizing fairness and cooperation in advancing the public good. Rather than growing complacent in his role of representing all the people of his district, Paul devotes himself to the job by accepting ever more responsibility.
Vote by mail, vote early, vote in person. Our choices are many!
Please vote. And vote for Paul Schmid to continue as our State Representative.
