Rees Supports McKenna, Romano
I am writing this letter to support the election of Andrew Romano and Donna McKenna to the Fairhaven Select Board. When I took the job as Fairhaven’s first town administrator, I was attracted to the challenge of bringing professional management to Fairhaven, but soon also discovered its natural beauty, historic attributes, and friendly people, so much so that my wife and I decided retire to this lovely town. We now have a personal stake in making sure Fairhaven continues to thrive as a well-managed town providing quality services to its residents.
To my mind, the best qualified candidates running for the Select Board who can build on past successes and address current and future needs are Donna McKenna and Andrew Romano. Both have demonstrated a commitment to the town by their service on various boards, the capacity to address complex issues through their private sector business acumen, a focus on providing excellent customer service and a commitment to fair and transparent government.
We need public officials who are dedicated to good local government and building bridges instead of silos. Donna McKenna and Andrew Romano more than meet those qualifications and I urge you to vote for them at the upcoming election.
Mark Rees, Fairhaven
