Looks Like a Pathetic Bailout By Mr. Freitas
The incompetency and corruption continues in Fairhaven’s Selectboard. At the March 22 meeting a critically important action item was on the agenda to acknowledge the written termination of the Town Adminis-trator consultant we hired from doing business with us and discuss the next steps to hire a legitimate Town Administrator.
Chairman Daniel Freitas, the guy who intentionally blew up that whole process leaving us with nothing and grim prospects, couldn’t even be bothered to show up for the meeting. Again, pathetic and shameful. When the town needs leadership the most, Mr. Freitas bails. And we all see that Mr. Silvia has nothing to offer. This can’t continue.
Last week I offered two suggestions for what each of you can do to help right this sinking ship. Now I offer a third of utmost importance: re-elect Bob Espindola. Mr. Espindola has been the only shining example of integrity, wisdom and selflessness on that board in years. Without him, Mr. Freitas and Mr. Silvia’s corrupt, incompetent and belligerent agenda would do even more damage than has already been done. We cannot let that happen.
Please join me in supporting Mr. Espindola and vote for his re-election. I will proudly do so.
