Ken Blanchard Supports Trapilo
I don’t usually write endorsements however, I felt compelled to share my opinion for this particular select board race.
Let me first say, I have lived in Fairhaven for thirty-five years. I worked for the City of New Bedford for near forty years, most of which as a department head, leading multiple departments. I served directly for, and at the pleasure of five different mayors. This experience gave me the opportunity to witness up-close and personal, many different leadership styles and varying degrees of qualifications of proven municipal leaders.
It is with the utmost certainty and confidence I can attest, that Rick Trapilo is the most qualified and best suited person to serve on our select board at this time in our town’s history.
We need someone with vast business experience in both finances and recruitment of highly qualified personnel. I would add to those qualifications a very important attribute, common sense!! I have always felt that no matter where it came from or the level of education you have attained, if you lack common sense you will fail to be a valued leader. Rick Trapilo has all of these.
Given our current financial predicament, our budget busting legal costs and our desperate need for a qualified and competent town administrator we need to add Rick Trapilo to the select board to help to get these matters resolved professionally and quickly.
I respectfully ask you to consider joining me and my entire family in voting for Richard “Rick” Trapilo for Select Board.
