Neighb News is Not Proper Forum for Editor’s Rants
I don’t believe Fairhaven Neighborhood News was/is the proper forum for your political rants, even though it is your paper.
Your letter from the editor (11/24/22) was not appreciated by many people I’ve spoken to. There are many contradictions in your letter starting with “the hateful rhetoric needs to stop soon”…your letter was so full of anger and hate!!
You don’t like Trump — okay we get it. Guess what? There are people who still do!! This is America and we all have the freedom of expression.
You ended it with another contradiction by saying “really people, tone it down, just tone it down.”
Maybe if you set a good example and toned it down, everyone would be better off.
This paper is meant to be neighborhood news, not Beth’s liberal political rants.
