Durant is Prepared
I would like to express my support for Cam Durant in the race for Select Board. As a former Planning and Conservation board member, I know the challenge of balancing family and service. I also know that Bridget and their three girls are the reason Cam has worked so hard on the BPW for the past five years.
He is responsible for the oversight of our infrastructure — the things every resident uses each day. This multifaceted department encompasses budgeting, capital planning, HR, policy, and other functions that mirror the responsibilities of the Select Board. He is prepared for the role.
I can also attest to Cam’s character. We have been friends since Bishop Stang High School, Providence College, and now are neighbors. He is always there to lend a hand and is devoted to helping his neighbors in times of need. For example, Cam volunteered for Meals on Wheels as a Driver throughout the pandemic.
Fairhaven needs more officials who understand service leadership, and I encourage you to vote Cam Durant for Select Board.
